Spiritual Education -
A student of Mysticism and Metaphysics for 50 years, Gary has studied in Europe, India, Canada and the USA. His direct and distant teachers have included: Rowena Wescott (USA) - direct meditation student of Paramahansa Yogananda, later a Kriya meditation instructor. Mark Prophet (USA) - Mystic and healer. Spiritual Teacher -
As an ordained minister and widely recognized spiritual leader, Gary has taught workshops and seminars all over the world on various subjects relating to spirituality and mysticism. He has lectured internationally at the university level on integrating mystical ideals into practical approaches to all human activity. He has given talks, seminars and workshops on a wide range of spiritual subjects at universities, teaching centers, churches and retreat centers throughout North America, Europe and Japan. He has been a vocal member of discussion groups and round tables at symposiums on world peace and the environment.
His latest achievement has materialized as The School for Mystical Knowing - Tokyo, Japan a joint venture project with JMA, Inc - Japan and with active partners, Yumiko Mutoh, President of Gary Bonnell - Japan and Yuri Oohno, Teaching Partner.
Gary has taught in Japan for sixteen years offering a range of lectures and workshops on a variety of spiritual subjects. His vision of offering an in-depth course study on the teachings of The Knowing Way was realized in 2007 when a year-long course was developed in four sections of study - Section One: Self-Knowledge/Self-Actualization; Section Two: The Knowing Mysteries; Section Three: Akashic Records and Section Four: Unity Healing. The first year's student body was kept to fewer than one hundred applicants. A waiting list of future students was established and the school will offer to its first graduates a year long Advanced Akashic Records study section beginning the fall of 2008.

Future Publishing Projects:
The Fall of 2008 - Japan/North America: THE BUICK DRIVER: A Mystical Journey to Self-Realization through the Adversity of Child Abuse. This title focuses on how, as a young boy, through repeated abusive encounters with his alcoholic stepfather, Gary chanced to become a mystic when his conscious awareness was "knocked" out-of-body during an altercation. His stepfather was a local "thug" for a group of German immigrants and worked as a carpenter at Cape Canaveral Space Center. The sequel title, Where Elephants Tango, explores, with mystical insights, the advent of the post war Nazi migration of scientists and intelligence officers to the USA after WWII. This is very different look at how Germany's most brilliant scientific minds were allowed to begin new lives in Florida and Texas through the fledgling space program. The material for this title is translated from the Akashic Records and declassified documents.
The winter of 2008 - Japan/North America: A companion workbook for THE KNOWING, titled, Mystical Conversations - Exploring Life BEYOND RELIGION: The New Spiritual Paradigm of Conscious Soul Awareness, is in final edits.
Current Title:
Gary's latest title, THE KNOWING, was published in Japan by Tokuma Shoten in September 2004 and in North America November of 2004 through RichmanRose Publishing. This book reveals the ancient spiritual understandings of the global cultures that existed before the present period of Abrahamic religious dogma being expressed through Christianity, Judaism and Islam. The subject matter explores the Atlatian knowledge of Creator God and our place on Earth. Humanity's struggles with equality and cultural parity is given new understanding as the philosophy and science of our ancient fore cultures is revealed. This book is loaded with ancient knowledge that is given a modern voice. A must read for anyone on the mystical path to self-realization.
Previously Published Works Include:
His first book was released in 1990. ASCENSION, was the first modern book on the subject of returning the physical body back to Light. It has been read worldwide. There are now dozens of books published on the subject by a wide range of authors with Ascension centers throughout the world devoted to the subject.
YOUR BOOK OF LIFE Accessing the Akashic Records, simultaneously released in North America and Japan, September 1996. It was in it's second printing in both countries shortly after its initial release. It is now in its sixth printing in the US and nineth printing in Japan as a two volume set.
THE TWELVE DAYS OF LIGHT, simultaneously released in North America and Japan in 1998. This ground breaking work is in its sixth printing in North America and its eighth printing in Japan. It is now also available in Italian, Spanish and Dutch.
Gary and the well known Japanese author, Takahashi have collaborated on a book that released in 1999 in Japan only. "THE AKASHIC RECORDS OF JAPAN" is an in-depth look at the role Japan has and will play in the coming years. The book was already in its third printing in January 2003. Two interview books, one concerning the developing war in Iraq, future wars in Iran and Syria and the other concerning more esoteric issues, were published for the Japanese market as a result of the terrorist attack in New York, Pennsylvania and Washington, D. C. on September 11, 2001. A team of media specialists and a publisher visited Gary's home and spent several days asking very specific questions about the immediate future's far reaching influence. The video tape of the interview was published as a conversation book and excerpts are currently being broadcast on web TV in Japan.
Hundreds of articles have appeared in magazines, newspapers and periodicals around the world describing his work in the areas of business and mysticism. Reviews of his writings have appeared in regional, national and international periodicals. He has been a guest on numerous regional, national and international cable and network television and radio shows and now web TV and radio.
Direct Business Experiences:
Gary worked for one of the nation's largest general retailers, Rich's Department Stores, located in Atlanta, Georgia first as a Commercial Illustrator, then assistant Art Director and Advertising Manager. After leaving Rich's in 1974, he then held the position of Vice President of Advertising/Marketing, with Designhouse International, an import company of fine European furniture. The company grew from one store in 1974, to a chain of stores in five states by 1985. The company's stock went public (IPO) that year and Designhouse sold in 1986. After Designhouse, Gary focused his skills as a furniture designer with a former business partner. Their collaborated designs have sold in North America, South America, Europe and Japan. He and his partner showed and sold leading edge furniture designs at the World Furniture Market in Copenhagen, Denmark. They were the most prolific furniture design team to invade the European furniture industry from the US.
Private Sector Consulting:
Bonnell has contractually worked with corporations, mid-sized companies and independent businessmen and women in North America, Europe and Japan on the subject of "Intuitive Business Strategies." He has also presented workshops for entrepreneurs entitled, "Incorporating Mystical Knowing in the Workplace." He has worked with numerous medical groups through clinics and hospitals on "Increasing Medical Intuition." He has consulted for corporate senior level teams, school boards, industry groups and select membership within all the major service organizations in North America.
Other:
The "Flo" comic strip, featuring a delightfully out-of-step administrative assistant who takes the intuitive high road to a rather not-so-understanding boss, was developed for a California based financial corporation. The nationally published strip was developed and is written by actress, Claudia Gallion, and had been illustrated by Gary for 17 years. He retired as Flow's illustrator the summer of 2005. Gary is an accomplished artist, with one work entitled, "Ascension," hanging in a permanent collection at the Franciscan Monastery in Conyers, GA. Hundreds of visitors to the monastery have volunteered stories of the mystical experiences they have when viewing Gary's black and white image of Jesus.
His accomplished daughters: His oldest daughter teaches school while nurturing her husband and rearing two youngsters. His youngest daughter has set aside her Special Education teaching assignments to undertake the fulltime job of being wife and home-schooling mother of four children. His daughters are married to wonderful and successful men who care greatly about this world in which we live. Their children are being raised in homes focused on Spiritual values and an active commitment to living life fully in community.
