The Knowing: The Ancient Spiritual Philosophy of the Atlatian and Lemurian Cultures
by Gary Bonnell
Category: Non-fiction / Religion
278 pages; ISBN: 1-879604-22-1
A stunning view of creation and humanity's place within the grand design. The Lemurian and Atlatian cultures had a completely different understanding of how humanity was derived and their purpose while incarnated on Earth and referred to this guiding philosophy as The Knowing Way. As we approach the coming shift from separation into unity in 2011, it will be advantageous to those wishing to awaken from the misunderstandings of the last several thousand years to fully grasp the importance of Soul consciousness incarnating as human awareness. If we are to ascend out of the divisiveness of polarized awareness into knowing ourselves as sovereign beings, we will give up the superstitious notions found in religious doctrines in favor of knowing ourselves as being formed in the image of Creator God from our First Moment. This book is filled with informative study, practical daily exercises and lifestyle suggestions designed to help the aspirant toward completion with duality. Each chapter is dedicated to awakening the joyful gratitude that emanates from truly knowing our place within creation.

The Knowing: The Ancient Spiritual Philosophy of the Atlatian and Lemurian Cultures is a complete reference to the basic Gnostic belief system: The Knowing refers to the foundational belief system of past and present day Gnostics. This book begins with a little about the history of The Knowing from its inception through various periods of human history to the present day. Then, this book explains these foundational beliefs in some detail, particularly in regards to the existence and purpose of life. As the book progresses, the reader is taken from very basic, simplistic aspects through more complex concepts. At each step of this learning process, the reader is also encouraged to make use of various resources, practical exercises, and lifestyle suggestions both to further comprehend these ideas and to increase knowledge and understanding of him or herself.
Usually material on this subject examines one particular part of Gnostic beliefs or one aspect of the history of these beliefs. Thus, in order to get a real feel for these often extremely complex concepts, usually a reader needs to read a variety of different books on the subject just to comprehend the basic aspects of this belief system. Unlike these other works, The Knowing: The Ancient Spiritual Philosophy of the Atlatian and Lemurian Cultures successfully incorporates a large amount of information in a single text while still presenting these concepts in a logical, accessible, easy to understand fashion. This is no easy task as much of the information presented is extremely complex, especially for those without any previous knowledge of these concepts.
